Can I really use 1st Money for free?  Most people start out only needing FREE or FREE+ so you'll likely pay nothing! (...we won't even ask for your card number)

Is the Tax Filing optional?  Yes, Tax Filing is optional. You won't need Tax Filing for non-tax-filed people.

How do I stay on the FREE+ plan?  At the end of each month we auto-detect which of your people are payrolled. If you're still less than 4 payrolled people (over the month most recently ended), and none of your people have used PRO features, then you pay nothing (you're on FREE+).

How do I move to the PRO plan?  Once you reach 4 payrolled people, or at least one of your people has used PRO features, we'll automatically move you over to PRO.

What's the PRO pricing?  PRO has a £14.75 minimum per month. This includes a £9.99 base fee, plus 4 payrolled people at £1.19 each.

Any hidden costs?  There's no hidden or setup costs. Prices don't include VAT, and you never pay VAT to us. If you're VAT registered, you pay the 20% VAT direct to HMRC on your VAT return (via reverse charge) and usually reclaim it on that return.
