"How do I set my childbirth date, and upload a maternity certificate?"

Before requesting paid maternity leave, or statutory maternity pay, you'll need to set your expected childbirth date. You'll also need to upload a maternity certificate, or MAT B1, from your doctor.

To set your expected childbirth date, and upload a maternity certificate:

  1. First, open yourself on: MenuMe
  2. Then tap: SettingsMedical
  3. Then scroll down to the "Maternity certificate" heading.
  4. And set your: Date of expected childbirth
  5. Next, tap Take photo to take a photo of your maternity certificate. Alternatively, tap Upload if you've already got a photo of your maternity certificate.
  6. And finally, it auto saves, and you're now all set to request paid maternity leave.

To request paid maternity leave:

  1. First, tap: MenuRequest time off
  2. Once it opens, set the "Type" of time off to: "Maternity ... paid"
  3. And finally, you can now continue with your application for statutory maternity pay by filling in the rest of the details.

Keep in mind that:

  • The "Maternity ... paid" option only shows for females.

And that's it! That's all you need to do to set your expected childbirth date, and upload a maternity certificate!
